Xeneta’s Multi-Factor Authentication gives your user account an extra layer of protection on top of a strong password. You must have a smartphone to use this feature.
When Multi-Factor Authentication is enabled for an account, the user will be asked for a token upon logging in. The personal token is generated by an app on the smartphone. Tokens are time-based and will only last for a short amount of time. This type of token is called a time-based one-time password (TOTP).
Xeneta supports several smartphone apps to provide personal tokens. The apps recommended are Google Authenticator and Authy, but any TOTP-providing app should work.
